Around 11:50 this Saturday, March 19, in the sector of Ayacucho and Manuel de Jesús Álvarez streets, a new violent event was recorded that caused one death and one injury.
According to the first indications collected by the Police, those affected and other people were in the sector of the field. One was resting in a hammock and the other citizen was sitting, when suddenly two subjects arrived on a motorcycle and shot them repeatedly.

Once the attack was perpetrated, the wounded were taken in a truck to the Napoleón Dávila Córdova hospital, where doctors from the Emergency area verified that Víctor Giler Sánchez, 27, died a few minutes after arriving at the health home.

After the authorization of the prosecutor on duty, Criminalistics personnel and the Directorate of Violent Deaths (Dinased) carried out the removal of the corpse and transferred it to the Manta morgue.
