PayPal payment system has expanded its functionality in Ukraine

The American electronic payment system PayPal temporarily expands the range of services provided on the territory of Ukraine. At the moment, it is assumed that the expansion of functionality will be valid until June 30 this year, the company’s press service reports.

In particular, Ukrainians will be able to withdraw funds from their PayPal accounts to Ukrainian bank cards. In addition, the payment system will cancel the commission fee for such transactions.

Recall that on March 5, PayPal announced the suspension of work in Russia due to a special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. The company offered the Russians to withdraw funds from their accounts by March 18.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In response to Russia’s actions, Western countries announced new, tougher sanctions against the Russian Federation, including those of a financial and economic nature.
