Four people were left homeless after a fire in El Carmen

Firefighters from Santa María and La Bramadora came to the scene, but everything was already consumed.

A family of four was left without their home after a fire that consumed the entire wooden structure.

The incident occurred on Thursday 28, at approximately 4:00 p.m., at site La 25, in the rural area of ​​Río de Oro, in El Carmen, in the north of Manabí. The fire progressed so fast that the firefighters did not even have time to reach the scene to try to save part of the house.

Firefighters from Santa María and La Bramadora went to the scene, but everything was already consumed, it was reported.

The house was inhabited by Ángel Moreira, his wife, Marisol Barre, and their two children, aged five and one year old.

Those affected stated that, at the time of the fire, there was no person in the place, because Ángel was working and Marisol with her two children had gone to visit their mother.

The fire consumed everything the family had inside the house: beds, mattresses, stove, gas cylinder, television, clothes and even work tools, such as a weed trimmer and a chainsaw. (I)
