It was 02:40 this Wednesday and everyone was asleep when two detonations woke up the residents of 42nd and Vacas Galindo streets, in the suburb.
Two houses that belong to a single family were attacked with explosives that, according to the first reports, were launched from a vehicle that passed by on the street.
Security cameras are now being searched to identify those responsible. The buildings are about 70 meters away and the dynamite affected the metal doors, the roof, an electric meter of the houses.
But it also caused injury to a pet. It is a pit bull dog whose eardrums would have burst due to the loud noise.

Captain Byron Zumárraga, from the Portete district, mentioned that none of the family members has a criminal record, but some type of retaliation for territory is not ruled out.
The police said that there are no complaints of threats or warnings of any kind, so the family was asked to file a complaint about this attack with the Guayas Prosecutor’s Office.
An aunt of those affected said that her relatives would not know the origin of the explosions. Since last year, more than 20 such explosions have been reported in the city. At least eight cases occurred in Bastión Popular. (I)
