Russia and Ukraine during the negotiations developed a plan of 15 points, including termination fire and the withdrawal of troops, subject to the neutrality of Kyiv and the reduction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the Financial Times newspaper with reference to the participants in the negotiation process.

According to the publication, the plan includes the refusal of the Ukrainian side from its intentions to join NATO and a promise not to deploy foreign military bases and weapons on its territory.

In addition, a member of the Ukrainian delegation at the talks with Russia, adviser to the head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky, Mikhail Podolyak, announced the preparation of documents for possible direct negotiations between Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin.

Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for Vladimir Putin, commented on the Financial Times report, announcing that Vladimir Putin would be able to meet with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky to fix the agreements. At the same time, he emphasizes that it is premature to disclose any agreements reached during the negotiations.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the positions of the two delegations had become “more realistic”, but the outcome of the negotiations should be in the interests of Kyiv.
