The fourth round of talks between Russia and Ukraine will be held online and will begin at 10:30 am, David Arakhamia, a member of the negotiating delegation, said. However, he did not specify the time zone, RBC reports.

Arakhamia noted that the decision to meet remotely was made due to the fact that the road to the venue of the three previous rounds takes a long time. Previous negotiations between Russia and Ukraine took place on the territory of Belarus.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called the task of the Kyiv delegation in negotiations with Russia to reach an agreement on his meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

Recall, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In his speech, he stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.” In response to Russia’s actions, Western countries (USA, Canada, EU, UK, Japan) announced new, tougher sanctions against the Russian Federation, including financial and economic ones.
