Ukrainians who live in the western and central regions of the country were asked to go to work and restart the economy. With such an appeal, according to TASS, Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, addressed his fellow citizens.
According to him, the residents of these areas should get out of the “disobedience holiday” regime and help restart “at least a small” economy, that is, go to work in shops, catering establishments, etc. Otherwise, Arestovich believes, a social crisis may develop into a political one, and the economy will “come seams.”
Earlier it became known that Russia’s gold and foreign exchange reserves, frozen by the EU, could save the economy of Ukraine from the “shvah”. The fact that they are supposedly reserved for the country, said the adviser to Vladimir Zelensky on economic issues Oleg Ustenko.
“This is more than $300 billion,” Ustenko added. He also said that in two weeks the country’s gold and foreign exchange reserves decreased by $ 2 billion: according to him, as of February 24, they amounted to $ 29.5 billion, now – “at the level of $ 27.5 billion.”
Earlier it was announced that Ukraine expects to get access to Russian gold and foreign exchange reserves, as well as the losses incurred by the country’s economy.
