The restriction will be in effect until September 9 for those clients who opened accounts before March 9. Banks must issue them currency at the rate of the bank.

Commissions that banks have received since March 9, they must return to their customers, Business FM reports.

If funds up to 10 thousand dollars are issued to the client, the commission can be credited to a bank account in US dollars or issued to him in cash in US dollars subject to the condition on the maximum amount of cash return (up to 10 thousand), or credited to the client’s bank account upon application in rubles or issued in cash rubles.

If a client is given $10,000 in cash, the commission deducted in excess of this amount is credited to the client’s bank account in rubles or can be issued in cash rubles at his request, the Central Bank notes.

Funds received as a transfer from a bank outside of Russia and from electronic wallets will be issued only in rubles at the bank’s exchange rate from March 12, the Central Bank said.
