Two other bodies were found after a landslide on the Loja-Zamora road

Until this Thursday 28, five bodies of victims have been recovered in the area.

Around 6:00 p.m. on Thursday 28, two other bodies were found in the Zamora River, at the height of the Yantzaza canton. The relatives of the disappeared arrived at the scene to recognize the bodies.

The call of the authorities coincides with that of the relatives to help observe the banks of the Zamora river to try to spot the bodies that could emerge.

In recognition of friends and co-workers present, the fourth body corresponds to Jessica Elizabeth López Herrera, 24, a native of the city of Loja.

Family members indicated that she worked in the Parish Autonomous Decentralized Government (GAD) of Los Encuentros.

A fifth body was found in the late afternoon on the banks of the Zamora River, exactly at the site known as Soñaderos. It is a male person, although his identity was not known until 9:00 p.m. (I)
