On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russia and Ukraine are negotiating to resolve the situation. Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with Reuters that Russia’s operation could end at any moment, but Kyiv must amend its constitution so that Ukraine would reject any goal of joining any bloc.
“We also talked about the fact that they should recognize that Crimea is Russian territory, and that they should recognize Donetsk and Lugansk as independent states,” he added.
