This is how the capacity allowed in Quito remains with the green alert due to the coronavirus pandemic

Since Thursday, March 10, 2022, resolution AQ 010-2022 has been in force in Quito, which establishes the new capacity measures allowed in the capital in order to promote an economic reactivation after the reduction of infections by COVID-19.

According to the document signed by the mayor Santiago Guarderas, contains the guidelines for several activities that were not previously established in the restrictions.

A publication of the Capital City Municipality announced that the alert is green, that is, the level of risk is low.

This is how the capacity remained:

• Bars and clubs, centers of tolerance and nightlife They will be able to function with restricted capacity of 90% outdoors and 80% indoors.
• Malls (including food courts), supermarkets and markets with 100% capacity.

• Restaurants: inside 90% and outside 100%.

Use of a mask

The document states that “by inside sports establishments, a mask must be worn at all times. Users who play a specific sport in the relevant spaces (courts and physical spaces) they can stop wearing a mask as long as all players present, prior to the start of the game, proof of the complete vaccination schedule against COVID-19 with at least 14 days of validity of the last dose or negative PCR test up to 72 hours prior.
