The information that China will not supply aviation spare parts to Russian companies is not true. This was reported in the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency, commenting on the statement of the head of the department for maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft of the Federal Air Transport Agency Valery Kudinov.

“Also, other statements by Kudinov regarding the relationship between business entities – Russian airlines and aircraft lessors are not true,” the ministry said, RIA Novosti reports.

The Federal Air Transport Agency also stressed that the competence and responsibility of Kudinov does not include the registration of civil aircraft and he does not have reliable information about the state and maintenance of the state register of civil aircraft of the Russian Federation.

Recall, on March 9, Kudinov said that the Chinese government refused to supply aircraft parts to Russian airlines. “As far as I know, such information passed that they turned to China … and the Chinese refused,” he explained and added that now Russia will look for opportunities to supply aircraft parts in Turkey, India and other countries.
