Turkish airline Pegasus Airlines has announced that it is suspending flights to and from Russia from March 13 to March 27, 2022.
According to the press service of the carrier, the decision was made “due to operational risks” in the situation of imposing sanctions against the Russian Federation. The company notes that passengers who have tickets for flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Mineralnye Vody, Grozny, Makhachkala and Krasnodar on the specified dates can exchange tickets for another date or receive a full refund.
Earlier it was reported that since March 10, Turkish Airlines has suspended the sale of tickets for flights from Turkey to third countries due to the blocking of Russian cards by Visa and Mastercard systems.
Recall, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass.
