Blockades continue on several highways in the inter-Andean alley, according to reports from agencies.
Several highways in Ecuadorian territory continue with vehicle traffic restrictions due to the mobilizations of social groups, this Thursday, October 28.
According to reports from ECU911, the roads of the Ecuadorian coast remain open to vehicular traffic, however, in the inter-Andean alley there are still blockages. There are other highways in the north of the country, such as in Imbabura, which have been opened in the last few hours.
The Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (MTOP) indicated that it continues to clean up debris on several roads that have remained blocked in Pichincha, such as the Cusubamba-Otón stretch. Similar tasks are replicated in areas of the Loja-Saraguro highway, with the support of the military and the police.
