The exchange of tickets to the cultural spaces managed by non-perishable food will be allowed.
Within the framework of World Food Day, the City Museums Foundation and the Quito Food Bank Foundation made an agreement that allows the exchange of tickets to the cultural spaces managed by the institution for non-perishable food that will be delivered to groups of priority attention through the BAQ.
Admission to museums and cultural spaces in exchange for food will be from November 4 to December 30, 2021 at Yaku Water Park, Interactive Science Museum, Carmen Alto Museum and City Museum. Likewise, the Contemporary Art Center, despite being free, will also receive donations.
Visitors can exchange museum tickets for the following foods:
· 500 g of rice, lentils, beans or oats.
· 200 g of powdered milk.
· 180 g of canned food (for example, a can of tuna).
This initiative seeks to motivate the visit of citizens to cultural spaces as part of the reactivation of the historic center, and also to collect food to support the social sectors affected by the health emergency.
