Lucas Moura warns: “It’s a dangerous time to play against United”

Lucas Moura warned his Tottenham teammates about the match against Manchester United, for the Premier League. The message was given on account of the 5-0 rout that the Red Devils they took it from Liverpool. According to the player, the team will be “hungry” and will want to erase the match image.

“It’s a dangerous time to play against them,” Lucas told Standard Sport. “They are hungry for the Liverpool game and we are hungry for the West Ham game,” he added.

“They have very good players, they have good football experience and will know how to get through this moment. This is not our problem, no matter what time they have, we just need to do our best, get on the field and fight and play our game to get the three points”, said the athlete.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s Tottenham was defeated 1-0 by West Ham last Sunday. This Wednesday, he beat Burnley in the English League Cup and advanced to the quarterfinals.

Lucas was the author of the goal in Tottenham’s last game, for the English League Cup. The Brazilian analyzed the match and showed willingness to lift the tournament cup.

“It was a very important victory, especially after the defeat against West Ham and before the game against United,” he began. “The feeling was really bad against West Ham because we played well and didn’t deserve to lose. We played well, it was a very good performance, we deserved to win and now we’re going with everything against United”, he said.
