The university campus has 1.8 hectares of land in Nuevos Horizontes, west of the city of Esmeraldas, where the rectory and four academic units are located. “The access road to the La Fontana citadel will be closed, since the four attackers would have entered the guard through this place, on two motorcycles,” said the rector.

Two of the subjects get off the motorcycles and proceed to shoot and then flee in the same vehicles through one of the exits of the Colinas del Sol citadel.
