What is the Super Worm Moon? When will this astronomical phenomenon be seen in the sky?

In March, 18 astronomical phenomena will be presented and among them is the so-called Worm Supermoon. This astronomical phenomenon can be observed next Friday, March 18, since the natural satellite will be at its closest point to Earth.

This was explained by the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics of Mexico, to detail what astronomers call perigee. This Supermoon receives the name “worm”, due to the worms that appear on the ground as the melting accelerates, as well as the worms that reappear in the bark of the trees.
