Obama’s team assured that the former president turned to his network of leaders to identify the entities that are doing critical humanitarian workand invited his followers to make a donation to support those efforts through his different GoFundMe campaigns.
Among the institutions mentioned by Obama in his latest publication is Fight for Rightdirected by Yuliia Sachuk, which promotes the rights of people with disabilities (provides shelter, evacuation and emergency services).
The Hungarian Helsinki Committee, led by András Léderer, which provides free legal assistance and representation to refugees in Hungary. They are helping Ukrainians seeking asylum in that country.
