David Arakhamia, a member of the Ukrainian delegation at the talks with the Russian Federation, said that the parties “listen to each other and are actively discussing.”

At the same time, he called “the only issues on which agreement is almost impossible” are the annexation of Crimea to Russia and the recognition of the LNR with the DNR.” He also noted that it is impossible to talk about the rapid progress of the negotiation process.

“The work on the conditions is going on 24/7, it’s hard, but we are still showing progress,” the politician said.

As for Ukraine’s accession to NATO, the country is not ready to discuss this issue in the next five to ten years and “will not fight for a bid,” Arakhamia said.

In addition, he added that according to unconfirmed reports from Kyiv, former US President Donald Trump and several US congressmen are planning to visit Ukraine.

Recall that the second round of negotiations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine took place on March 3. The parties agreed to create humanitarian corridors and, if possible, temporarily cease fire. The third round was scheduled for March 7th.
