Alinton Molina Mera, 50, was killed while sharing with friends in the citadel March 30, on the road to the Boyacá parish, in Chone. The event was recorded last Saturday, March 5, at 6:00 p.m.
The first inquiries carried out by the Police indicate that the man was drinking in the company of other people, when some subjects on a motorcycle arrived and shot him several times.
Another person was also injured on the spot. After shooting, the men left in a hasty race in an unknown direction, according to what they indicate.

ECU911 was alerted to the news and actions were immediately coordinated with the local Fire Department and the National Police. Molina Mera and the other wounded man were transferred to the Napoleón Dávila Córdova General Hospital to receive medical assistance. However, at the scene it was only found that Molina Mera had arrived without vital signs.
Criminalistics personnel and agents from the Directorate of Crimes Against Life, Violent Deaths, Disappearances, Extortion and Kidnappings (Dinased) carried out the removal of the body by authorization of the prosecutor on duty, and then took it to the Manta morgue.
Relatives of Alinton Molina Mera indicated that he was a fan of cockfighting and that his brother was also murdered in June 2021, in the El Paraíso neighborhood. (I)
