Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba held talks with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on the Ukrainian-Polish border. Their details were revealed by Kuleba himself, he is quoted by TASS.

According to the minister, they “discussed ways to ensure the effectiveness of sanctions against Russia and close any possible ways around them.”

“The Secretary of State confirmed that the United States is ready to continue defense support for Ukraine and is considering ways to further strengthen its defense capabilities,” Kuleba said.

Recall, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In his speech, he stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.” The Russian and Ukrainian delegations have already held talks twice to resolve the situation, including the opening of humanitarian corridors. Discussions will continue. We add that Western countries are imposing sanctions in response to Russia’s actions.
