Roskomnadzor excluded the RuTracker.org website from the unified registry for blocking, which had been banned for 6 years before. The reasons are not yet known. However, the site is still listed in the registry of infringing domains to which access is restricted.
RuTracker.org allows users to share files, including those with violations of intellectual property rights.
Earlier on Saturday, it became known that the Russian Ministry of Economic Development is considering the possibility of lifting restrictions on the use of intellectual property for a number of goods, the import of which into the Russian Federation was restricted.
According to TASS in the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development, this will avoid the shortage of goods and services that arose due to the sanctions of Western countries. The measure may affect both inventions and computer programs, as well as means of individualization, in particular, trademarks.
The final decision on such goods will be made by the government of the Russian Federation.
