The Ukrainian Parliament says that one of the delegates at the talks with Russia about its ongoing special operation in the Donbass is no longer alive. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
In the RT channel’s Telegram, it is specified with reference to the People’s Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) allegedly eliminated the negotiator Denis Kireev. The politician was suspected of high treason and killed during his arrest.
There is no official confirmation of this.
Russia, which launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24 to protect the republics of the LDNR, held two rounds of negotiations with Kiev in a week to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. The meetings were held in Belarus. Denis Kireev participated only in the first round of negotiations.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that negotiations on Ukraine should be conducted in silence. According to him, there is no talk of written agreements following the results of the meetings. Read more about the negotiations and the requirements of the delegations here and here.
