The head physician of the Domodedovo Central City Hospital, Andrei Osipov, commenting on the situation with coronavirus in Russia, said that the number of cases has recently decreased significantly, and therefore the authorities are lifting a number of restrictions.
A doctor on the air of Radio 1 suggested that soon Russia would be able to abandon the mask regime. “There is reason to hope that this will continue, then by May we will be able to abandon the masks,” Osipov specified.
Using the example of his hospital, the doctor reported that they did not have a single patient connected to a ventilator. “I am also glad that a small number of children are in the hospital, and their manifestations of the disease are mild,” the doctor added.
At the same time, he urged pensioners and people with chronic diseases to continue to try to avoid visiting public places as much as possible and maintain social distance.
Recall that QR codes and all restrictions on visiting catering, theaters, museums, entertainment and sports events have been canceled in Moscow, and transport cards have been unblocked for pensioners and chroniclers.
