QUINSALOMA, Los Rios
Kevin M., 26; Carlos T., 29, and Leonardo C., 48, were arrested by the Police when they allegedly guarded several packages of controlled substances inside a Quinsaloma farm in Los Ríos.
The merchandise, which resulted, after the respective tests, in cocaine hydrochloride, was seized by Agents of the National Unit for the Investigation of Chemical Substances (UNISQ).
The drug blocks were found inside a white Hino brand truck, hidden in jute bags.

In total there were 600 packages, each one wrapped in packing tape and marked with the letter LV.
Also found in the possession of the suspects were $8,000, communication equipment and two vehicles.
The uniformed officers detailed that the drug was ready to be sent to the Port of Guayaquil and then to Europe.
In addition, the police indicated that the drug would belong to a group of drug traffickers who operate in the Quinsaloma, Quevedo and Ventanas cantons of Rio de Janeiro. (I)
