The body of a young man, about 15 years old, was found in a branch of the Salado estuary in the southwest of Guayaquil, after a day of his disappearance.
The citizen fell from the bridge of the A, on March 1, as detailed by residents of the area to police officers.
In the sector of the A bridge, in the Cristo del Consuelo sector, the tracking of the young man began once the emergency was known.
Divers from the Special Operations Group (GOE) collaborated in those tasks, who located the body without vital signs on the afternoon of Wednesday the 2nd.
The discovery occurred at a depth of about five meters, so several dives were made to extract the body.
The young man was found bare-chested and only wearing red and blue swim shorts.
Once the task of rescuing the body was carried out, the Prosecution, Criminalistics, Legal Medicine and Violent Deaths Directorate teams went to the arm of the sea to carry out the removal of the body and the subsequent transfer to the morgue of the Judicial Police.
For now, authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the mishap. (I)
