During the week of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, the number of Ukrainian refugees reached 1 million, UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi said on Twitter.
“In just seven days, we have witnessed the exodus of a million refugees from Ukraine to neighboring countries,” he wrote.
