In another violent incident, a citizen was injured while moving in a taxi.
Manuel Bejarano Véliz was killed while driving a vehicle in block 6 of Paraíso de la Flor, in the northwest of the city, at dawn on Wednesday 27.
According to police inquiries, a subject attacked Bejarano and then fled aboard a motorcycle in the company of another person, the uniformed media told the media.
Ricardo Armas, head of the Nueva Prosperina District, said that when police units arrived, the victim’s relatives had already removed the vehicle and his family member from the area. That said that it hampered the police work to clarify the fact.
Nine ballistic evidence, glass remains from a car window and blood stains were found at the site.
The victim was 35 years old and had two records for drug trafficking and theft, Armas said.
Personnel of the preventive axis presumed that the subject was engaged in the trafficking of illicit substances, the police chief said.
In another case, last night, a taxi passenger was shot when he was driving on a road in the Swan sector, in the southwest. For now, he is hospitalized in a Northwest public health home with two gunshot wounds to the arm and shoulder.
The man has five criminal records for different crimes. (I)
