“Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded of our comrades,” Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the ministry, said at a briefing.

The agency also acknowledged that few servicemen were captured. According to the Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian military use torture and torture on the prisoners.

It is noted that the loss of killed and wounded in the Russian Armed Forces is many times less than that of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the “nationalists”.

Recall, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation in the Donbass. He stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.”

On February 27, Putin ordered the Russian deterrence forces to be put on special duty. “The top officials of the leading NATO countries also allow aggressive statements against our country. Therefore, I order the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff to transfer the containment forces of the Russian army to a special mode of combat duty, ”the Russian president said.

Russian-Ukrainian talks are to be held today in the Gomel region of Belarus. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has already stated that he does not really believe in the success of this meeting.
