The arrival of tourists and travelers from other provinces continued on Saturday, mainly to the resorts in the south of the green province. Others came to the restaurants to taste the gastronomy and enjoy Las Palmas beach.
The weather was favorable for the visitors, on the first day, although a light rain fell this morning. Meanwhile, inflatable pools and celebrations took place mostly inside the houses, to avoid theft from people or any inconvenience, in the capital of Esmeralda. Also because of the warning from the Police Intendancy to seize this equipment if it is found on the road or in public spaces.
Police and traffic control agents remained in the streets at the entrance to the resorts. Firefighters with life jackets also set up an aid station in Las Palmas. (I)
