Quito is promoted as a tourist destination for this carnival holiday from Saturday, February 26 through Tuesday, March 1.

Municipal and provincial institutions, cultural managers, business premises and private companies have prepared a series of events to celebrate the carnival and economically reactivate the city.

With the purpose of recover the traditions and revive the festival and joy characteristic of Quito and inhabitants of rural parishes, festivals with music, dance, gastronomy and handicrafts have been proposed.

This Monday, February 28, will be the third day of carnival, Below is the schedule of activities that you can do:
