The increase in violent deaths continues in Zone 8, made up of Guayaquil, Durán and Samborondón, cantons of the province of Guayas.
Around 5:00 p.m. this Thursday, February 24, Byron MC, 22, was gunned down in one of the corners of the San Francisco 1 cooperative, located in front of the Litoral Penitentiary.

The victim received at least six bullet wounds from a group of subjects who arrived in the area. As a result, the body was left lying on a dirt road in that sector.
Criminalistics agents collected evidence and took the version of the residents, who until this morning remained secretive due to the violent act.
Also, police personnel kept guarding the area in the early hours of the morning. There, it was learned that the deceased person had been in prison months ago.

Last night, subjects on motorcycles attacked a group of people who were in a central neighborhood of the Jujan canton. Due to the attack, four people died, two on the spot and the other remaining in Babahoyo hospitals. The victims include an active-duty police officer.
