In two Ukrainian cities, after Russia launched a military operation in the Donbass, fires broke out at airports. Whether the fires were the result of shelling is unknown.

Eyewitnesses filmed smoke rising from the airports of Kherson and Ivano-Frankivsk.

Meanwhile, a map of alleged Russian strikes on Ukraine appeared on the Web, Green Tape reports.

The air raid alert, according to Telegram channels, also sounds in Lviv.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that Kiev had lost control over two villages in the Donbass: Melovoe and Gorodishche (Luhansk region). According to the State Emergency Service, Lutsk airport also came under artillery fire. In addition, arsenals in the Poltava and Cherkassy regions are on fire, military depots in Ivnitsa near Zhytomyr have come under fire.

On the morning of February 24, President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia was launching a “special military operation” in the Donbass. At the same time, journalists had suspicions that the appeal was recorded in advance.
