It was a very disturbing night in Kiev: cars were honking, someone was leaving, someone was coming. Screams and loud conversations constantly sounded, the Kiev correspondent of Rosbalt reports. In the morning, some pops began to be heard, in the center they were not very well heard. And in the eastern outskirts, such as Brovary, for example, they sounded very loud. They write that even houses are shaking.

The airport administration said that the air defense was working on some kind of Russian drones. At the same time, there are reports, a lot of them in chats, about explosions in Kharkov, that supposedly rockets are falling on the outskirts of almost all major cities in the country. There has been no official confirmation yet.

Air defense sirens have not yet sounded in Kiev. Communications and the Internet are still working, electricity is not turned off.

Just in one of the chats there was a message that the landing of Russian troops in Odessa had begun, but it may turn out to be a fake.

At about 7:45 there was an explosion near the Lisov metro station, there were strong blows in Irpen and at the Kharkivska station (near Boryspil). According to a Rosbalt correspondent living in Podil, he has just heard about 10 explosions.

At about 7:50 a.m., President Volodymyr Zelensky went on air from a smartphone, announcing that he was convening a meeting of the National Defense and Security Council. Security Council Secretary Danilov said that martial law would be introduced. This information was confirmed in a video message by the Ukrainian president. Sirens sounded in Kiev.
