Roadblocks are reported in these sectors of the Amazon

Indigenous movement started protests.

The Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of the Ecuadorian Amazon indicated that the days of protests began in the East.

That group alluded to roadblocks in sectors of three provinces: Sucumbíos, Pastaza and Morona Santiago.

The partial blockades are in the Taracoa sector, Cuyabeno canton and Yamanunka, Shushufindi canton, in Sucumbíos.

A road closure was registered on the Panamericana Norte, near Cayambe

In Pastaza there are blockades at two points on the Puyo-Macas road: in Pitirishca and the Y de Santa Ana. While in Morona Santiago there are reports of a stoppage of interprovincial and intercantonal transport.

In the territory of the Fenash-P Federation of the Shuar Nationality of Pastaza, the claims began with the closure of roads in the Amazon trunk in the early hours of this Tuesday. (I)
