On the morning of this Wednesday, February 23, 2022, a traffic accident on Mariscal Sucre and Tumbala avenues, in the San Diego sector, downtown.
The traffic on said avenue is suspended, in the two north-south lanes. Around 12:00, the Metropolitan Transit Agency reported that traffic was enabled.
A white vehicle ended up overturned on the sidewalk. A few meters from the car, a motorcycle is also down.
According to the preliminary report of the Integrated Security Service ECU911, four people were injured. They are attended by members of the Quito Fire Department (CBQ) and paramedics who arrived at the scene.
CBQ officials had to carry out procedures for extraction to free the wounded from the vehicle.
Members of the Metropolitan Transit Agency and the National Police also went to the scene to solve the traffic and security of the place. (I)
