The Governor of St. Petersburg announced the abolition of new coronavirus restrictions

Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov said that as the situation with the coronavirus stabilizes, the city authorities will prepare the lifting of other anti-COVID restrictions, in addition to those that have already been canceled. He announced this in his traditional radio address to the townspeople.

According to Beglov, a balance needs to be found between the severity of restrictions and medical necessity, since this is important not only for business, but also for the government.

Recall that since February 21, anti-coronavirus restrictions have already been relaxed in St. Petersburg – for restaurants, cafes, cinemas, concert halls, skating rinks and leisure facilities.

According to the changes signed by the governor, these establishments will be able to work until two in the morning. In addition, the possibility of holding cultural, entertainment, congress and exhibition, solemn, leisure and other events is extended until the same time. The previous order provided for the work of catering points and holding events until 23:00.

Night cabarets, clubs and discos remain closed, entertainment and entertainment events in karaoke, bars and other public catering facilities are prohibited.

According to the same document, city polyclinics are returning to their planned operating hours from Monday.

Recall that on the eve of St. Petersburg became the “leader” in the daily incidence of coronavirus: 16,599 people fell ill in the city per day, 82 people died.
