The US Embassy in Russia has issued a warning to Americans in Russia about the threat of terrorist attacks in major cities and on the border with Ukraine.
According to a message published on the website of the diplomatic mission, unnamed media are the source of information. The embassy warns of possible terrorist attacks in shopping centers and subways of major Russian cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as in “zones of increased tension” near the Russian-Ukrainian border.
US citizens are advised to monitor local and foreign media, avoid crowded places, stay vigilant in popular tourist areas, and consider evacuation options without the help of the US administration.
In turn, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, asked on her Telegram channel whether the American side transmitted the relevant data to Moscow “through partner channels.” “If not, how is this to be understood?” she added.
We will remind, earlier the journalist of the American television channel CBS News reported that Russian troops allegedly received an order to launch an invasion of Ukraine.
