Currently, “provocations are being fabricated in the Donbass to justify the military intervention of the Russian Federation.” This opinion was expressed by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, his words are quoted by the Gordon portal.

“Firstly, the idea of – and I quote – “genocide” is absolutely wrong and, frankly, offensive. It devalues the word itself, to put it mildly. It just doesn’t happen,” Blinken said. According to him, the United States is aware of this, since OSCE observers are working on the Ukrainian side of the dividing line.

Blinken stressed that the statements of Russian representatives about the alleged “genocide” in ORDLO by Ukraine are illogical, “when there are 150,000 Russian military around Ukraine.” According to him, contrary to any logic, the idea that Ukraine somehow threatens Russia. Blinken believes that in the Donbass “there is a fabrication of provocations, which is then used as an excuse for Russian military intervention.”

The OSCE representatives “verify what is happening there and what is not happening,” the Secretary of State added.
