More than 3,000 residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) have been evacuated to Russia. This was stated by the Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic Alexei Kostrubitsky. The video was published on the Telegram channel of the head of the republic, Denis Pushilin.
“To date, 3,384 people have already been evacuated,” Kostrubitsky said.
He added that at the checkpoints with Russia, assistance points for the evacuated population were deployed, hot meals were organized, and doctors were on duty.
Earlier, the leaders of the self-proclaimed LPR and DPR accused Ukraine of preparing a “deep breakthrough” and announced an emergency evacuation of civilians to the Rostov region.
