Álex Macías Cedeño died from the impact between two cars, which occurred on the morning of Monday 25 at kilometer 32 of the San Lorenzo-Ibarra highway.
Macías was driving a red motorcycle when he collided with a gray truck, police personnel from the San Lorenzo district detailed to the integrated service of the ECU911.
Agents from the Community Police Unit of the San Francisco parish came to the area to attend to the emergency.
There, the authorities confirmed that Macías died at the accident site, while the driver of the truck fled after the accident.
The prosecutor on duty and police officers from the Traffic Agents Investigation Service (SIAT) proceeded with the removal of the body and began investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident.
At noon on Monday there was also a collision between a motorcycle and a truck on the streets of Pichincha and Avenida Libertad, in the Emerald capital. In that incident, no victims were reported, only material damage to both vehicles. (I)
