The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine does not see signs of a full-scale operation against the country by Russia, but they note “massive provocations,” the organization’s secretary Oleksiy Danilov said on the air of the 1 + 1 TV channel.
According to him, provocations from the Russian Federation “are constantly seen, but today they were daring.” In particular, Danilov called the shelling of the village of Luhanska, which is located on the territory controlled by Kiev, a “massive provocation”. According to him, in this way they tried to force Ukraine “to respond powerfully by military means”, and then accuse the Ukrainian authorities of organizing a provocation.
“As much as we wanted to, we were restrained,” Danilov added.
In turn, the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Anton Gerashchenko, announced the shelling of a residential building in the village of Luhanska from the unrecognized republics of Donbass. According to him, the house was fired upon “from a heavy gun”, after which a fire started. According to preliminary information, there were no injured or dead, Gerashchenko said.
Recall, earlier it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Lao PDR accuse each other of violating the ceasefire.
