A 26-year-old man was murdered this Thursday afternoon in a cooperative in the Pascuales sector, in the north of Guayaquil.
The first versions indicate that the man was shot by two individuals who arrived on a motorcycle.
The citizen was outside a house at the time of the attack. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. The neighborhood was alarmed at the shots that were heard.
In a shipment of teak, 1.5 tons of cocaine and 3 more tons were discovered in bottles of guayusa
Carlos Rivadeneira, head of the Pascuales district, indicated that there were several people at the site, but the attack was apparently targeted.
Rivadeneira maintained that the first signs point to a turf battle. The individual had previously been threatened.
The man was injured and his relatives transferred him to a health home, but when the doctors arrived they only verified the death.
Rivadeneira maintained that it was being investigated whether the man had a criminal record. (I)
