Skull bones, teeth and hair were found in a fishing boat that was adrift on the high seas. Relatives fear that it is about three fishermen who would have been murdered.
The relatives approached the dock of the 5 de Diciembre neighborhood, in Puerto Bolívar, province of El Oro, where they indicated that the bodies of their relatives have not been located. This finding was recorded early this Thursday, February 17, in the Jambelí archipelago.

The fishermen would have gone out to work on Wednesday afternoon. The relative of one of them would have received a call where he heard the fishermen asking not to kill them, this testimony is being investigated by the police units.
The missing fishermen are José Peña Montesdeoca, Jean Pierre Santacruz and Nixon Zambrano.
In private boats they went out to carry out the search in the area where they are believed to have been murdered.
