In Primorye, a two-month-old child died under unclear circumstances while his parents were drinking alcohol, according to the regional prosecutor’s office.
According to the department, the incident occurred in the village of Innokentevka, Lesozavodsky district. The owners of the house received guests and drank alcoholic beverages. The eldest, three-year-old daughter of the mistress of the house was with her grandmother, and the youngest stayed with her parents. On the morning of February 16, the child was found with no signs of life.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the parents said they did not know anything about the causes and circumstances of the incident, because they were in a state of intoxication. The department notes that at the end of last year, the baby’s mother was brought to administrative responsibility for failure to fulfill parental duties.
The specialists decided that it was not safe for the eldest daughter to be in the family, the child was placed in a medical organization.
All the causes and circumstances of the incident are being established, and a pre-investigation check is being carried out.
