Further revaccination against coronavirus every three months or six months raises questions. Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, microbiologist Vitaly Zverev stated this on the air of Radio Russia.
According to him, over the past time the virus has changed so much that the vaccine created on the S-protein can no longer be so effective. Zverev clarified that vaccines are based on a humoral immune response, but, however, antibodies in the human body do not circulate for a long time. Cellular immunity, the academician emphasized, they seem to either not create at all, or create, but for a very short time.
According to Vitaly Zverev, since the virus has already changed so much that it has 32 mutations in the binding site, then vaccination will no longer work as effectively. As an example, the academician cited the leader of the LDPR party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who was vaccinated eight times and still fell ill, as well as a number of his acquaintances who became infected with the coronavirus despite the fact that “everyone was also vaccinated.”
Earlier, Zverev expressed his concerns about children’s vaccination against coronavirus. According to him, children mostly endure the disease in a mild form due to their physiological characteristics. “Their nasopharynx does not accumulate a large amount of the virus, so they cannot spread it widely,” Zverev said at an expert council on the prevention of coronavirus in minors.
