Next year, St. Petersburg will take part in an experiment by the Federal Tax Service to introduce an automated simplified taxation system for small businesses. Mikhail Baryshnikov, head of the budgetary and financial committee of the Legislative Assembly, announced this at a plenary meeting in the Mariinsky Palace.
According to him, the letter of the Ministry of Finance of Russia with such a decision was received by the parliament in response to the appeal of the deputies.
“We asked for an experiment, seeing that the “automated simplified taxation system” contains many benefits for small businesses,” Baryshnikov said.
“Simplified” means that small businesses do not need to spend money on the services of an accountant, since information can be entered through the taxpayer’s personal account. Insurance and pension contributions will be reset to zero.
In July 2022, Moscow, the Moscow region, Tatarstan and the Kaluga region will join the experiment.
Recall that representatives of small businesses whose annual turnover does not exceed 60 million rubles and the number of employees – no more than five will be able to switch to a simplified system.
