Last Sunday night news was registered in the province of Chimborazo. Around 7:00 p.m., according to the ECU911 report, some people who were moving in vehicles on the road between the cantons of Chambo and Riobamba were trapped in the middle of stones of different sizes and dragged mud.
In the images that were shared on social networks, the motor vehicles are observed in the middle of the material without being able to continue with their journeys. The landslide occurred in the sector known as Las Minas. There were users who walked across the affected section.
Machinery and personnel from the Municipality of Chambo and the Provincial Government of Chimborazo traveled to the place to take care of the removal of the material.
