The worker of a service station was attacked with a bullet while he was carrying out his work in the Naranjal canton, last Sunday night.
Antisocials who arrived at the site, located at the foot of the E.35 road, shot the subject in the middle of an apparent robbery, around 9:00 p.m.
The victim, identified as Bryan Pérez, was left lying at the foot of one of the dispatch points.
After the fact, Pérez was taken to a health home, where minutes later his death was confirmed.
“He arrived almost lifeless and in agony (to the hospital), he has four entry and exit holes in his head and left shoulder,” a doctor told local media.
Police officers began investigations at the gas station to identify those responsible for the incident.
This same month, on October 9, two people were also killed in the middle of an assault at a service station located in the San Joaquín sector, on the El Triunfo-Bucay road, near the Guayas border with Chimborazo. The victims were dedicated to the dispensing of gasoline and care in a minimarket of the site, respectively. (I)
